Inside Wedding Photography
How can I not show off a photo of my brand new granddaughter!
Having shot a number of newborns in the hospital my process is pretty straightforward, Mom holds baby, position near window with indirect sunlight.
Most of newborn clothes are white so wrap in a white blanket and move in close. Pretty easy and these photos are great for announcements.
Todd Takes Pictures:
For this week’s contribution, I’m going to throw all the way back to an image that I took the first time I was at Fort Huachuca in January of 2025. Even though I live in a location with beautiful desert scenery, I haven’t really thought of myself as a landscape photographer. That said, some of the scenes I have captured over the years (such as this single lenticular cloud) do lend themselves well to high contrast black & white processing.
Do any of these images speak to you? Tell us what you think .
Also, please consider clicking over to the photographer’s main publications to check out more of their art. I’m sure they’d appreciate your support!
Catch you next week,

Congratulations on your beautiful granddaughter, Todd!
I also love the cloud photo.
Todd's cloud brings forth an image of a spacecraft. Even though 90% of my brain doesn't believe in ETs.
Some of my most cherished pictures of my son are in black and white taken by a brother in law, and they still thrill me 55 years later.
